Lotta Marie has established herself in both Finland and Ireland as one the most diverse violin players of her generation. Her impressive resume includes roles as concertmaster, starring in international shows in the USA and Europe, and performing with top soloists in Ireland and Finland. She effortlessly navigates between classical music, pop, and international show business. Lotta Marie is also known as a virtuosic improviser, making her a highly popular musician in the orchestras of numerous well-known soloists. She performs alongside artists such as Amadeus Lundberg, Kyösti Mäkimattila, Tomi Metsäketo, Heidi Pakarinen, Heta Halonen, Milana Misic, and Mikko Mäkeläinen. In 2023, Lotta toured with the "Olavi Virta - Red Leaves" concert tour.
In 2022, Lotta launched the solo concert series "40 Shades of Green," where she performs with pianist Samuli Jokinen. The concert has already been performed in over ten different concert halls, with performances continuing into 2024. Lotta continues to perform internationally as well, such as being the lead violinist for Irish contemporary composer Louise McMahon's "Butterfly Wars" for string ensemble (2023). Lotta participated in the recording of the piece, which has been featured internationally on radio. In May 2024, Lotta Marie performed live at the "Butterfly Wars" during the Zeitgeist Ireland festival in Berlin. In 2023, Lotta performed the Nordic premiere of Ryan Molloy's "Irish Suite" for solo violin (2015).
Besides a musician, Lotta Marie has also worked as a musical director, producer, and artistic director in numerous multidisciplinary international shows in Finland, the USA, Central Europe, and the UK. She has performed with the Finnish Baroque Orchestra, Irish Baroque Orchestra, and Helsinki Baroque Orchestra as a violinist and concert master / section leader, and as a chamber musician in Sweden and Finland at festivals such as Ung Nordisk Musik, Musik vid Gästrikland, and Sääksmäki Soi. She performed as a soloist with the Academos Orchestra for the Irish President in 2012. Lotta also works actively as a studio musician.
Lotta Marie has performed in 2012-2018 in the USA and Central Europe as a soloist and musical director in numerous international show productions such as Women of Ireland, Gaelforce, Dance Masters, and Celtic Angels to mention a few. She has worked with top producers and musicians such as Gavin Glass (Lisa Hannigan), Colm O Foghlú (Riverdance, Máiréad Nesbitt), and Robbie Harris (Riverdance, Heartbeat of Home, Jiggy, Afro Celt Sound System). Lotta worked excessively as a violinist for producer Martin O'Neill and many other artists, featuring on dozens of albums by Irish artists. She has performed with Westlife's Shane Filan and Irish legend Daniel O'Donnell. Lotta Marie performed as a soloist with the Academos Orchestra for Irish President Michael D. Higgins in 2012 and for Sir Rod Stewart aboard the Titanic in Belfast with the Phoenix String Quartet. Lotta is also a sought after performer on TV and radio and was seen on stage in The Voice Of Ireland 2016 Finale with contestant Nigel O'Connell.

Lotta Marie is an intuitively sensitive player whose distinctive sound is the result of years of developing a blend of classical timbre and technique, the nuanced articulation of Irish music, and the freedom of playing in the moment. Her most important violin teachers have included Minna Kangas, Ari Angervo, Anna Lindal, and Nikolai Fadeev, and she has studied violin playing and chamber music under the guidance of Monica Huggett, Petri Aarnio, Réka Szilvay, Vera Vaidman, and the New Helsinki Quartet. She regularly performs with the Pirkanmaa Pinna Orchestra and the Tawastia Symphony.
